2013 Sun-FM - IPE Youth Talent Contest
The IPE Youth Talent Competition, presented by Sun-FM 105.7, will return to the RAM Truck Stage at the Armstrong Interior Provincial Exhibition & Stampede's fair grounds. This popular event takes place every night from August 28th – September 1st (Qualification Performances Wednesday through Saturday, contest finals held Sunday) on the RAM Truck Stage between 8:00pm and 10:00pm. The primary objective of this event is to encourage young Canadians to develop and advance their talents in several performing art disciplines. The IPE & Stampede strives to provide an exciting venue, good organization, and a superb opportunity for young Canadians to perform in a competitive environment that encourages participation and learning experience.
Youth ages 8 to 21 are encouraged to apply with payment ENTRY FORM, signed Contestant Waiver, biography, and photograph to be received by August 16th, 2013. Applicants must also submit a YouTube link to a video of the intended performance for review by IPE & Stampede staff. Performances may be solos ($25), duets ($35) or groups ($75). Please review the contest Rules and Regulations prior to your application submission. Submissions may be received by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, by post (Box 490, Armstrong BC, V0E 1B0) or in person (IPE Office, 3010 Wood Ave, Armstrong BC).
Breaking News - Cash Prizes up for grabs at this year’s IPE!This year the incredible youth talent in our region will be playing for the privilege on playing on the Ram Stage at the next year’s fair plus we have added some cash prizing as well. 1st – $500, 2nd – $250, 3rd - $150. Please support the youth of today as there is some incredible talent in the community. 8:30pm each night on the Ram Truck Stage.

2012 Astral - IPE Youth Talent Contest Winner
Travis Flello is a 19-year-old small town singer and songwriter from Lake Country, British Columbia. This self-taught musician has been playing guitar since grade 5, and was the percussion section leader in the senior concert and jazz band at his local high school.
Travis’s passion and commitment to the arts drove him to complete his first demo, recording vocals, acoustic guitar, bass, and drums. Currently Travis is working on putting together his EP, as well as coordinating and leading a worship band at his local church, involving the youth in his community who have a passion for music. He is known for performing covers of his favorite artists, as well as writing and performing original pieces at local community theaters.
