How much does it cost to get into the fair, per adult/child/student/senior/handicap/family?
We have a variety of admission choices. Please visit our Maps & Fees page for more information.
Can I bring my little dog with me to the fair in my arms?
No, only seeing eye working dogs are allowed on the site. Please respect the Health of your animals as well as the Health of all the animals at the fair. We do not advocate leaving your dog unattended in the car, as the temperatures can be excessive. Please make other arrangements.
Can I pay at the entrance gate with my Visa or Mastercard?
Presently the answer to this question is No, but we are working towards fixing this oversight by fair time.
What age is considered a child?
Six to twelve years of age, five and under are free
What age is Senior?
Sixty years and older qualify for Seniors rate.
What days are Senior days?
Seniors days are Wednesday and Thursday.
Does a caretaker get in free with a handicapped client/family member?
Yes, attendants are free, if you are pushing the wheelchair, or helping with a walker, or acting as their guide.
Does admission include the midway rides?
No, admission includes most things such as Chuckwagon races, Heavy Horse Pulls, and Entertainment on the stages. The only things it doesn't include is Food and Beverages, the rides provided by West Coast Amusements plus the Rodeo is an additional charge

How many people are included on a family pass?
A family pass consists of two adults, and up to four children 12 years of age and under.
Are teenagers part of the Family pass?
No, unfortunately, family passes are for children twelve and under
Can I rent wheelchairs/strollers at the fair?
Presently the answer is No, we do not have rentals, but we are looking into correcting this oversight.
What days are the fair on?
The fair runs for five days from Wednesday August 29th - Sunday September 2nd, 2012
What time do the entrance gates and halls open?
Gates Open Daily: 7:30AM to 9PM :: Halls Open Daily: 10AM to 10PM
What time are the exhibits open?
All exhibits, exhibit halls, and booths are open by 10:00am
What time do the exhibits close?
All exhibits, exhibit halls, and booths are closed by 10:00pm. Some booths close earlier due to lack of pedestrian traffic.
What time do the rides start?
West Coast Amusements start their rides at 12:00pm(noon) on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
What time do the rides close?
West Coast Amusements close their rides at 10:00pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Saturday, the rides run until 12:00am (midnight) - or whenever the customers are finished. On Sunday, the rides go until 8:00pm.
When is the Rodeo?
The Rodeo runs all five days of the IPE. Wednesday right thru to Sunday.
What time does the rodeo start?
The Rodeo starts each evening Wednesday thru Sunday at eight (8:00) p.m.
Which is the best day to see the rodeo?
Everyday is a great rodeo. The cowboys are accumulating points towards their finals.
What day are the finals on in the Rodeo?
As the hosts of the Wrangler Tour Finals, we have the best 20 cowboys and cowgirls competing for a spot in the Sunday finals.
How do I go about getting Reserved Rodeo seats?
By Phone: you can call the IPE Office, give your name, phone number, visa or mastercard number, and the number of seats required, and the days you want to see the rodeo. Then, those seats will be held for you (under your last name) for pick-up at the IPE office or at the Rodeo ticket booth next to the Red Grandstand.
In Person: stop by the IPE Office, and let them know how many seats you need and the nights you need them. Or you can go to the Rodeo ticket booth located next to the Red Grandstands, and purchase your tickets right there.
Where do I get Rodeo tickets/seats?
Rodeo Tickets are $11 (including taxes) per day and are available at the IPE Office. Simply phone the IPE Office at 546-9406 to reserve tickets.
Where is the IPE Office located?
Our NEW main office is located at 3010 Wood Ave across from our Wood Ave Gates.
Where is Kids World located?
Kids World is located at our Main Wood Ave Gates, behind Hassen Arena, and the small animal barns.
Where is the United Church Dining Hall?
The United Church Dining Hall is located underneath the Red Grandstands.
Do you have ATM machines on the fair grounds? Where are they located?
Yes we have three sites for ATM's, one located in the food court area, another near out front entrance by our Satellite office, and a third ATM beside Kinsman Beer Gardens – outside the Curling Club
Does the IPE have lockers, where I can leave my things?
Yes we have lockers available, they are located by the Main Gate
Does the IPE have a Lost & Found? Where is it located?
The IPE has a lost and found located at the IPE satellite office, and West Cost Amusements has a lost and found as well and it is located at their main office trailer.
Where is the handicapped parking area?
We have Handicap Parking right next to our main gates, accessable into the paved parking is off of Bridge Street. As well, Highland Park School directly across from our Main Wood Ave. gates has handicap parking. Handicap buses may unload inside the fairgrounds, behind the Red Grandstands.
Where can I park/camp?
The IPE has parking all around the fairgrounds and a large lot is directly across the street from our Wood Ave gates. Day parking, as well as dry camping, are available. We also have another large parking lot located on Otter Lake Rd. that is closest to the light horse arena. Day parking and dry camping are available there.
